About OnPitch

OnPitch is a grassroots football coaching app designed to help volunteer coaches manage matchday player rotations fairly. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about what data we collect.

OnPitch is operated by an independent developer based in the United Kingdom.

This Privacy Policy applies to the OnPitch mobile application and website at https://onpitch.app.

Data We Collect

We collect only the following personal data:

  • Email address: Collected when you sign up for early access or contact us. This is used solely to communicate with you about OnPitch.
  • Authentication metadata: If you create an account (when this feature is enabled), we store your account email address and authentication session data using Supabase Auth.

We process personal data only where necessary to provide the app or where you have given consent.

Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect:

  • Advertising identifiers
  • Analytics or tracking data
  • Behavioural data
  • Precise location data
  • Device identifiers for advertising purposes

We do not currently use any analytics or tracking scripts on our website or in our app.

Match and Team Data

All match data, team information, player names, and substitution history entered by coaches is stored locally on your device only. This data is:

  • Not transmitted to our servers
  • Not synced to the cloud
  • Not shared publicly by OnPitch
  • Permanently removed if you delete the app

Important for coaches: Please do not enter sensitive personal information about players (such as home addresses, medical information, or other private details) into the app. OnPitch is designed for match management only and player entries should be limited to names and positions.

Third-Party Processors

We use the following third-party service to process data:

  • Supabase: Used for email capture (early access signups) and, when enabled, user authentication. Supabase provides industry-standard security measures for data storage and processing.

Security

We use encrypted transport (HTTPS) for all communications between your device and our servers. We implement reasonable safeguards to protect the personal data we collect and store.

Sale of Personal Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third parties.

Children's Privacy

OnPitch is intended for use by adult coaches. We do not knowingly collect personal contact information directly from children. Match and player data entered by coaches is stored locally on the coach's device and is not collected by OnPitch.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request access to any personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate personal data
  • Request deletion of your personal data
